United World Games 2026
				1. Scope
1.1. The following terms and conditions apply to all participants of the sporting event United World Games, hereinafter referred to as “participants”.
1.2. Organizer is the organization United World Games ZVR: 083156547 Siebenhügelstraße 107A/Stiege 2, 9020 Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, hereinafter referred to as “organizer”.
1.3. The terms and conditions govern the legal relationship between the participant and the organizer in accordance with the current valid version at the time of the participant’s registration. Terms and conditions are subject to change. Deviating conditions submitted by the participant are not recognized by the organizer, unless the organizer has expressly agreed to their validity in writing. All declarations of the participant must be sent to the organizer exclusively in writing by e-mail at office@unitedworldgames.com.
1.4. By registering for the sport event United World Games and all of its associated side events, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Registration
2.1. Registration for the event takes place online via the homepage of the organizer. The participant hereby confirms that all data provided by him/her in the course of the registration are correct and if he/she is not an adult/legal guardian, the applicant guarantees to have obtained the consent of the parent or guardian for the registration and participation.
2.2. If the tournament in the respective sport and age category is already filled, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the participant’s partaking or to put him/her on the waiting list.
2.3. By registering the team, each team guarantees that, to the best of their knowledge, all trainers who participate in the United World Games have been screened regarding their suitability and integrity in relation to working with minors.
2.4. By registering, the participant also confirms that he/she has read and accepted the rules and regulations for the respective sports facilities. These rules and regulations are available on the homepage of United World Games www.unitedworldgames.com.
2.5. Each participant must ensure that he/she is insured both on and off the pitch. The organizer does not provide group insurance that protects participants in the event of injury, illness, theft or property damage. In case of injury where the injured person is not insured, or if his/her home country does not have a medical treatment agreement with Austria, the participant must bear the costs of the treatment himself/herself.
2.6. Registration Fee:
- No additional registration fee for all registrations until October 31, 2025!
- Starting November 1, 2025, a registration fee of 100€/team or 30€ for individual sports (tennis) will be charged.
- From February 1, 2026, a registration fee of 200€/team or 50€ for individual sports will be charged.
- From March 1, 2026, a registration fee of 900€/team or 90€ for individual sports will be charged.
3. Payment & Cancellation
3.1. After registering a team, the participant will be sent an invoice promptly.
3.2. After receipt of the invoice a deposit of 20% has to be paid within 14 days. The registration is considered confirmed when the deposit has been paid. The outstanding balance must be transferred by April 30, 2026 at the latest. If the invoice is not paid by the agreed payment deadline, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the registration.
3.3. The following cancellation conditions apply to the participants:
Cancellation of an entire team
- Cancellation of the entire team is possible free of charge until January 31, 2026.
- From February 1, 2026, a processing fee of 100€/team or 30€ for individual sports (tennis) will be charged.
- From March 1, 2026, a processing fee of 500€/team or 90€ for individual sports (tennis) will be charged for the cancellation of an entire team.
- From April 15, 2026, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total invoice amount will be charged.
- From May 15, 2026 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellation of individual players
- Individual players can be cancelled free of charge until April 14, 2026.
- From April 15, 2026, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked package will be charged.
- From May 15, 2026 100% cancellation – this also applies in the event of cancellation due to illness!
4. Behavior during the event
4.1. The accompanying trainers are responsible for all underage participants of the respective team.
4.2. During the event, there is an absolute ban on alcohol, nicotine and other addictive substances for all underage participants. Furthermore, in all sports facilities, a total smoking ban applies to all participants.
4.3. The instructions of ALL organizational staff (crew, security & file service) are to be followed unconditionally and immediately.
4.4. In the case of violations of any of the points (e.g. intentional disregard of (safety) instructions, riot, drunkenness, drug use, pollution, disturbance of the peace, disturbance of public decency & protection of minors) a ban from the premise will be executed by the organizer. If this is the case, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the participation fee.
5. Disclaimer
5.1. The organizer is entitled in cases of force majeure (e.g. thunderstorms, hail, heavy rain, storm, terror, epidemic ), due to official order or for security reasons, to make changes in the execution of the event or to cancel. This applies especially to all side events, the opening ceremony and the whole event itself. There is no liability for compensation of the organizer against the participant.
5.2. A liability of the organizer for damage to property and assets as well as their possible consequential damages is excluded.
5.3. Furthermore, the organizer assumes no liability for health risks of the participant in connection with the participation in the event.
6. Data collection and evaluation
6.1. The personal data provided by the participants during registration will be stored and processed for the purpose of conducting the event. This also applies to the data necessary for payment processing. By registering, the participant agrees and acknowledges that the data is being stored and processed for that matter.
6.2. The participant expressly agrees that the organizer may distribute and publish the participant’s photographs, film recordings and interviews in broadcast, television, print media, books, photomechanical reproductions, without compensation, in connection with the participation in our event.
6.3. The name, surname, year of birth, gender, if applicable club, start number and result (placement and times) of the participant for the presentation of starter and result lists in all relevant event-accompanying media (printing material such as program booklet and result booklet, daily updated print media upon request and on the Internet) may be printed and published. By registering, the participant agrees to the storage and use of personal data for this purpose.
6.4. When registering, the participant must provide a valid e-mail address, to which all event-related information will be sent. The participant also agrees to receive e-mails for promotional purposes from the organizer about the event or its partners. If a participant does not agree, the organizer must be informed in writing. A transfer of personal data outside the event communication does not take place.
6.5. You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right of correction, opposition, data transfer, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect / inadmissible processed data.
6.6. Sie haben das Recht, eine allenfalls erteilte Einwilligung zur Nutzung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten jederzeit zu widerrufen. 6.7. If you believe, that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in another way, there is the possibility that you complain to the proper supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
7. Other provisions
7.1. All regulations apply to all sports venues where competitions are held in the course of the United World Games, also outside of Klagenfurt.
7.2. For any legal disputes with the organizer, the place of jurisdiction is Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.
7.3. The law of the Republic of Austria is applicable, excluding rules and regulations governing conflict of laws.
