To make your journey to the United World Games as pleasant as possible, we have put together some important information for you.
As many teams have to make a long and costly journey, we organise coaches and carpooling arrangements from all over Europe to get the teams to Klagenfurt as cheaply as possible. Whether you’re coming from Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin or Barcelona – please get in touch if you need help organising your journey.
Klagenfurt can be reached via the A2 motorway. The quickest way to Players Town is via the “KLAGENFURT WEST” exit.

We can also pick you up from Klagenfurt Airport and take you to Players Town.
If you are unable to find direct flights to Klagenfurt, we recommend the following airports:
- Vienna
- Munich
- Ljubljana

UWG shuttle bus in Klagenfurt
The UWG shuttle system is a tried and tested transportation system that makes it possible to get to the various tournament locations quickly and easily during the tournament days.
For a small fee, every participant can use all shuttle buses during the tournament days. You can find all information about the shuttle buses here:
Extra Transfer
Teams staying in B&B and Hotel Classic accommodation require additional transfers on top of their shuttle tickets.
The following journeys are included:
- Thursday: Travel to accommodation
- Friday & Saturday: Trip to Players Town in the morning & back to accommodation in the evening
- Sunday: Drive to Players Town in the morning
