The United World Games are more than just a sports tournament.

Location: Carinthia/Austria
The aim of the UWG is to bring together young people from all over the world and to promote international exchange and friendship through sport.
The event takes place every year in June in Carinthia/Austria and attracts thousands of athletes from all over the world.
You can expect 4 days of action, emotions and unforgettable moments at the sports tournaments and various side events.
Participation & Accommodation
If you would like to take part in the United World Games, you can choose from various basic packages when booking.
Our basic packages include the participation fee, 3 nights in accommodation incl. Breakfast and 5 meals in our food court.
You can choose from a wide range of accommodation categories: Camping, UWG Camp, UWG Camp Dorm, Bed & Breakfast, Hotel Classic, Hotel Plus and own accommodation.
As a general rule, the earlier a club registers, the more choice it has in terms of accommodation. So please register quickly!
The price varies depending on the accommodation category selected. Additional costs are incurred when booking shuttle tickets, side events or other extras.
All bookings and registrations must be made in the UWG account.
Arrival and transportation on site
Klagenfurt is located in the center of Europe and is easily accessible by various means of transport.
Regardless of whether you have your own means of transportation or use public transport, we will be happy to help you get there.
During the tournament days, Klagenfurt will have its own UWG shuttle network connecting the tournament locations.
By booking shuttle tickets, you can use not only this but also all public buses in Klagenfurt.

Who can take part?
Anyone can take part in the United World Games, no matter what level! Among the thousands of our participants there are school teams, clubs, selections and youth national teams.
What makes the UWG different from other tournaments?
The UWG are no ordinary tournament. The UWG is about much more than just playing the sport you love. Here you can meet players your age from all over the world not only on the pitch, but also off it in the Players Town and the numerous side events. The UWG is the perfect place to make new international friends and spend time together! The grand opening ceremony in the stadium is also an incomparable highlight of the event.
How many games does each team have?
In each team sport, a group phase is played on Friday and Saturday morning (3-4 games). The knockout phase begins on Saturday afternoon, with the best teams battling it out for a place in the final (Sunday). The remaining teams play in Pool B, C, D etc. to determine their respective placings. This means that each team plays against similarly strong opponents. Everyone gets 4-6 games.
What are the costs?
We offer different packages depending on the individual wishes and travel budget of our teams. Simply contact us to receive the price list. Participation is cheaper than you think!
Who organizes the games?
The games are organized by the non-profit organization United World Games, which aims to promote cultural exchange through sports events and programs.
Can parents or family members also take part in the UWG?
Yes, of course. All family members of our athletes are welcome at the United World Games. Every year, more and more parents accompany their children to the games and cheer them on. We have a special package for all parents and also offer many other activities.
Where and what is Players Town?
The Players Town is the center of the games in the beautiful EURO 2008 stadium. Here you will find the check-in area, the tournament office and the information desk. The international food court, a lounge area including entertainment area, merchandise stand and part of the UWG camp are also available in the Players Town.
Do you offer dishes for different allergies?
Yes, we offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes.
Does our team need its own means of transportation on site?
No, we organize transport for you from the respective airports and also offer our own shuttle service in Klagenfurt with several bus lines. In addition to the UWG shuttles, there is also a public bus network in Klagenfurt.
By when do we have to register?
The official registration deadline is April 15th, but please note that many accommodations are fully booked long before the deadline and places fill up quickly. The earlier you register, the better!
