Opening Ceremony
The breathtaking and atmospheric opening ceremony marks the beginning of the games and is definitely THE highlight of the games!

The respective nations present themselves to the thunderous applause of all participants. All athletes then take the sporting oath together. A breathtaking moment that leaves no eye dry…
Great shows ensure an even better atmosphere and the entertainment team will really get you going!
Some of you may march in to represent your country at the opening ceremony. In order to have a fair selection, the respective teams are drawn by lot. The number of teams depends on the size of the delegation in each country. Therefore, the larger the number of participants in a country, the more teams are selected. Between 2 and 6 teams per nation will be drawn.
All the teams that were not drawn nevertheless play a major role during the opening ceremony, as they are just as much a part of the marching nation and therefore the atmosphere in the stadium will once again be unique!
The team draw will take place after the end of the registration phase.
Note: Please don’t forget to take your country’s flags etc. with you!
Tickets are available for all visitors at the evening box office (Kassa Nord) in the Wörthersee Stadium for €15.00.
For all athletes and those who have booked a fan package, admission to the opening ceremony is included.

Players Party
Our DJs heat up the party! What would a great celebration of sport be without a legendary party with cool music?

Location: Players Town
We promise you that no one will be able to resist the hot rhythms of our DJs. Even the biggest dance grouch will become a dancing king or dancing queen at the UWG.
A small note for all concerned parents: The Players Party will of course only take place in the Players Town area, which is exclusively accessible to our participants.

Gala Dinner
International flair, culinary highlights and space for cultural exchange.

On Saturday evening, we offer our many dear parents, our sponsors, partners and all friends of the UWG an unforgettable evening in the VIP area of the stadium, where a unique atmosphere prevails in the ultra-modern rooms. While the kids are having fun at the Players Party, we invite you to the Gala Evening from 7:30 pm – a very special event with international flair.
This evening should not only be a culinary highlight, but should also offer adults the opportunity for cultural exchange. Delicious food makes this even easier.

Farewell BBQ
Barbecue, beach volleyball, swimming fun. The perfect end to the United World Games with new friends!

Venue: Strandbad Klagenfurt (in case of bad weather in our Players Town)
Our Farewell Party is a big barbecue right by the idyllic lake. Spend the last day with your new friends enjoying delicious food, beach volleyball, swimming in the lake and many other activities! Of course, it is also the perfect opportunity to get to know the organizers and the many volunteers of the Games personally.
Note: Participants who would like a vegetarian option must indicate this when registering!
