History and UWG vision
Since its foundation in 2004, the United World Games have been under the patronage of UNESCO and stand for international friendship, cultural exchange, enthusiasm for sport, tolerance and fair play. This unique UWG philosophy has been practiced at every event ever since.
Starting out as a tournament with 500 participants, the UWG has grown continuously over the last 20 years and we can look back on our history with pride.
