Dear UWG Family,

we are more than sad to inform you that the United World Games 2021 have to be cancelled.

Over the last weeks and months we have been working tirelessly on a strict prevention concept, in order to guarantee the safety of all participants. Yet due to the constantly changing regulations regarding gastronomy, accommodation, travel restrictions, quarantine regulations and the still unclear requirements for sports events, we cannot vouchsafe a smooth realization of the UWG, even on a smaller scale.

These reasons, along with our claim to provide a first-class event that is safe for all involved, caused us, together with our main partners, to cancel the United World Games 2021.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who support us and remain loyal to us. Your trust in us and in the United World Games gives us both strength and motivation for 2022.

We will miss you very much this summer!
